At V+M, I help companies grow by acting as an internal advocate for my external stakeholders. I work daily on behalf of our great partners to ensure that our organization is accountable and continually producing great work + results.
I have an extensive background in sales and marketing specifically in launching, developing and managing complex projects and initiatives. For the past 11 years, I have been operating in the commercial, residential and technology services industries. In recent years, I have also been the President of a Leadership Development group focused on growing and networking future leaders through personal and professional development.
My number one strength is Positivity which translates well into serving clients here at Valve+Meter. Daily, I’m excited to be a positive influence both internally and externally. Another high-ranking strength is adaptability. Everyday I get to help us push the envelope to achieve transformational results for our partners by learning and leveraging new technologies, tactics and strategies. We are disrupting the market, and to do that we, and our partners, need to remain adaptable.
Currently, it’s all about family. I spend most of my free time with my wife and twin girls experiencing any adventure we can. You can also catch me watching sports or getting into personal and professional development books and articles. I love to learn, mentor and be mentored. Volunteering is very important to me as well. I’m always looking to help our community here in Indy, specifically efforts supporting our local kids. Outside of Indiana, I try to attend as many YWAM home builds as I possibly can. I am currently preparing for, and looking to join a nonprofit board or two.
Ignore the cheese factor here, but someone I admire is Marcia Barnes. She’s the reason most of us came to work for Valve+Meter, and she keeps us grounded everyday. I joined the team to help her grow this business but most importantly to learn from one of the best as far as servant leadership. Her story is incredible, and if you haven’t had the chance to get to know her yet, you should.
