What do you do at Valve+Meter?

I lead our team of Demand Generation Specialists. Our team is responsible for setting qualified appointments for our B2B clients’ sales teams.


Tell us about your background and experience

I graduated from Hanover College in 2012 with a degree in theology and have been in sales ever since. I somewhat just fell into sales due to my personality and ability to connect with everyone. I knew this is something I feel confident in and that I would be able to help grow a company because of it. I’ve worked primarily for start-ups and small companies that are experiencing a lot of growth. Because of this experience, I’ve been equipped and trained to do my job at Valve+Meter with a high level of expertise and knowledge. I’ve worked under some great leaders, and we have amazing people at Valve+Meter that I’m able to learn from that makes our team and organization strong.


What is it about you that makes you uniquely positioned to excel in your role?

Like I said before, I have a unique ability to connect with anyone and everyone. I love to look for and generate new relationships with people. Everyone has a story about how they got where they are, and I’m interested in uncovering that and learning. I also do whatever needs to be done – I’m not stuck in a particular position, which makes me well-rounded and well-versed in various software, technologies and skills that I can speak to with our clients and potential partners.


What are some of your interests and hobbies outside of work?

When I’m not at work, I’m spending time with family and friends. Also, I volunteer as a Big for Big Brothers Big Sisters and am a member of the Indy Zoo Council.


Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire my Great Grandpa Rozzi. He was a WW2 veteran, small business owner and community leader. He owned a greenhouse and flower shop for 65 years where he worked every day until he was 92. Even though he was always busy, he still made time to make a positive impact on his community.
