What do you do at Valve+Meter?

I am a developer at Valve+Meter, my job is to think outside the box to solve business problems leveraging technology to our advantage. Additionally, I have a innovative side that I embrace when working hand in hand with the creative team to bring their vision to life while maintaining pristine quality control to build websites and web applications for our clients.

What is your background and experience?

Growing up, I collected a box of cords and electronics to play with instead of using the normal toys my parents graciously bought. I always knew that my interests were different than other kids and I recognized early on that I would have to teach myself the skills I wanted to possess.

I bring over 10 years of professional experience in linux system administration, programming, SEO, and web development to the team at Valve+Meter.

What is it about you that makes you uniquely positioned to excel in your role?

Being a polymath or an active learner means I have spent my entire life seeking challenging situations that facilitate growth. Often gravitating towards new and more difficult tasks because it gives me a sense of purpose and drive. I embrace these character traits which enable me to always find a way to move the project across the finish line.

What are some of your interests and hobbies outside of work?

I spend a good amount of my free time partaking in various hobbies and contributing to open source projects, where I have garnered the title of Renaissance Man. From working on cars to automating my saltwater fish tank, the possibilities will always remain seemingly endless.

I wind down by spending time with the family. Which consists of my wife, son and two overly active dogs.

What is your dream travel destination and why?

Currently Switzerland holds the spot for my dream travel destination and retirement goals. The mountains have always held a compelling adventure, for me.
